Cessna’s new Citation 10 business jet took the to the skies for the its first test flight on Tuesday, 17th January 2012. The test flight went smoothly with they performed a variety of tests on the aircraft systems.
The Citation 10 is an upgraded version Cessna’s popular Citation X. It features improved engines, new Garmin avionics and comes standard with winglets.
Citation 10 is set to come standard with Garmin’s new G5000 integrated flight deck system which is the first touchscreen glass flight deck designed for Part 25 business jets.

The diamond formaly known as the Krupp diamond, originally belonged to the Krupp family but was later sold on auction to Richard Burton in 1968 and givento Elizabeth Taylor. Burton paid $305,000.
This precious stone was renamed as the ‘Elizabeth Taylor’ diamond. The stone weighs 33.19 carat’s, it’s an emerald cut stone, it is almost perfectly colorless D and has very slight inclusion (VS1).
Elizabeth Taylor wore this diamond which was mount on a ring almost everyday.
On the 16th December, 2011 the diamond was sold for $8,818,500 on auction to a private collector from Asia.

At this year’s CES (2012) Mercedes-Benz revealed their newest car infotainment system, mbrace2. Building on the previous system Mercedes-Benz has taken a more social approach with things like Facebook integration which allows you to look up Places, update you status, and when not moving you can view Wall’s and Events.
They have also added support for Google Maps, Google Streetview and Yelp.
A phone app is currently being developed which will allow you to remotely control car functions such as lock/unlock doors. You will also be able to check the car’s location and get alerted to any alarms.
mbrace2 will become available in the new SL set for release mid 2012.
